It’s a beautiful Sunday today and I hope you are well today? Grace and peace be multiplied unto you in Jesus name, Amen!
“THE GREATNESS AND POWER OF HIS NAME”
Ephesians 1:19-21, says: And what is the exceeding greatness of his power…Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.
After the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, he presented himself before God, in victory over the sting of death and God handed over all power, all authority and dominion to Him- his dear son Jesus Christ and set him at His own right hand, which is “the seat of power”, above every other powers that is named in heavens, on earth and beneath the earth. Jesus the All-Powerful, in-return made us who believe in him to become joint-heirs together with Him and he gave us the authority to use His name with audacity to change anything to begin to work in our favour. Now we are partakers of His Power.
It didn’t end there, Jesus also said in John 6:35; “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. What a great and loving God He is! This has to do with both spiritual and physical feeding and drinking.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world 1 John 4:17.
We are one with Christ Jesus and his representatives and ambassadors on earth, set forth to display his power, to heal the sick and to exercise his dominion everywhere we go.
The Wuest translation gives us a more excellent rendering of Ephesians 1:21. It tells us that Jesus is “over and above every government and authority and power and lordship and every name that is constantly being named, not only in this age, but also in the one about to come.”
He vested his power on us to enable us live above the systems of the government this world. We are in the position of authority both in this life and in that which is to come. Always use the might name of Jesus in any situation and circumstance you find yourself.

CONFESSION TIME
The Name of Jesus is the Name above all names, and I use that Name as an instrument today. His Name is greater than the greatest, his name is higher than the highest. He is the wiser than the wisest. With his name, I rule and navigate over circumstances and challenges of life today and by his name I dominate my world today. In the Name of Jesus, I declare I’m more than a conqueror, am indomitable, am a champion forever; eternally fruitful and productive. Blessed be God!
