Power Of Friendship

Dear Friend,

How’re you doing out there, hope great?

I like to briefly share with you the importance of good friends in our lives and a best friend we all need to know and have.

Our society tends to place an emphasis more on romantic relationships. We think that just finding a spouse will make us happy and fulfilled. But research shows that friends are actually even more important to our psychological welfare.

Friends bring more happiness into our lives than virtually anything else. For example, I used to be the type that isolate myself from both friends and family. I just wanted to be left alone and I never saw that as a problem. Though, am introverted to a fault.

But one faithful day, I needed to shop new makeups💄 for myself and of course didn’t have much clue on that, thought of who to call and boom, I remembered my long lost very good friend. So, i rang her📱, we had alil chitchat and then I went to see her and finally we reconnected back.

I had an exceptional shopping that day because she’s a talented make-up artist and thought me alot because I hardly know how best to apply makeup 🤣. I felt so happy 🥰 and revived. Trust me when I said that it was an amazing reconnection cause she saw alot of things that I wasn’t doing right which I hardly took note of not just the make-up.

My life bounced back again because I reconnected with my long lost friend. I stopped locking myself up as I used to and included her in my to-do list 😂.

We became eachother’s encourager, impacting our lives positively and strengthening eachother’s faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, We are eachother’s destiny motivators.

Sounds great right😊?

Well, that’s the power of friendship!

Listen, your spouse won’t always be around to talk with you anytime you want and no matter how sweet and loving you both are, there are some things you can’t talk to your spouse about and even if you’d love to, he or she might not always be in the mood for some certain discussions with you or constantly play the friendship role no matter how special they are to you and this is synonymous with the men counterparts. Not because they wouldn’t want to but due to their work schedules and other events.

Even though your spouse is your friend and no matter how close both of you are, you’re supposed to have friends and set your boundaries in other not to choke your relationship with your spouse. Create little space for your spouse to breathe.

I stopped isolating myself and started becoming proactive in the pursuit of my visions. I go out sometimes to visit my friend and now, we relate well and see eachother as sisters.

Reconnecting back with my friend had helped me to stop being a loner.

So you see, friendships👭👬 have a huge impact on your mental health 😴 and happiness😅.

Good friends helps to relieve your stress, provide comfort and joy just like me and prevented me from being a loner. This has to do with one of my weaknesses in my personality traits.

Good relationships gives you the ability to discover some of your weaknesses and re-channel your energy towards building new strengths.

Developing close friendships with the right people can give a powerful impact on one’s physical and mental health.

Lack of social connection and hanging out with the wrong people may pose as much of a risk as smoking, drinking too much, or leading a sedentary lifestyle.

Good friends are even tied to longevity. One Swedish study found that, along with physical activity, maintaining a rich network of friends can add significant years to your life. For instance, my grandpa had good friendship relationships during his days and that helped him both mentally, physically and emotionally. He lived for 125 years of age.

But close friendships don’t just happen. Many of us struggle to meet good people and develop quality connections. Even if you’re introverted just like me, apply a push on yourself to make new meaningful connections.

Friends With Jesus

Also, if you desire to have a friend that will motivate and help you to grow spiritually and all-round then you’ll need to make friends with Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith.

He’s the only friend that will can give you all-round gratification.

Whatever your age or circumstances you may find yourself in, call on Him and you’ll feel His awesome presence around you and as long as you’re willing to give Him your attention, He’ll be there for you at all times.

It’s never too late to make new friends, reconnect with old ones, and greatly improve your social life, emotional health, spiritual and overall well-being.

At this juncture, permit me to introduce you to a friend that sticks closer than a brother and sister both in good and in bad. He’s interested in you and loved to be you Lord, your saviour and your best friend. He makes everything beautiful, he entered into this world, layed down his life for you and I even when we didn’t know Him.

He’s a genuine friend and has the ability to bring in the right people into your life.

I enjoin you to open up your heart to receive Him as you help to bring the right and meaningful friendships into your life. He will give your the spirit of discernment to help you select the right friends to roll with.

Remember, evil communications corrupts good manners.

To make him your best friend 😉, simply say the prayer below:
